ROMAN SHADE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Please read below information on how to hang your roman shades, based on your chosen functionality and mount selection.

Also - before you throw any packaging away, locate all the necessary brackets and screws provided.

While it may appear complicated at first glance, we can assure you it's quite easy to self-install your roman shades! (We're working on installation videos to help as well - stay tuned for those.)

Should you need any additional information, we're always here to help!

Inside MOunt

If your shade is specified to fit within your window frame, your shade is an inside mounted shade.

Functionality: Continuous Loop
- Screw the provided metal mini brackets into the inside top of your window frame using the screws provided. If two are provided, bring each bracket in a little from each side of the window. If three are provided, the third bracket will mount in the center of the window.

- The top of your shade rail will pop into the underside of the brackets, front to back. This may require a little pressure. Once you hear it pop in, it's all good to go. Just ensure that both sides of the "teeth" on the bracket are secured inside the shade rail.

- To release the shade, push in the metal tab located on the frontside of the bracket, and remove it back to front.

Functionality: Cordless
- Pre-sink each of the provided screws from the underside into the board. Place the board up into the window frame and screw the screws up through the board and into the inside top of the window frame.

- If two screws are provided, bring each screw in a little from each side of the window. If three are provided, the third screw will mount in the center of the window.

- To access the center of the board might be a little tight due to the mechanism. Using an extension on your drill is helpful, as is angling your screws a little.

OUTSIDE MOUNT

If your shade is specified to cover your window trim, your shade is an outside mounted shade.

Functionality: Continuous Loop
- Using the provided metal mini brackets, screw these into the wall at the desired height of your shade with the screws provided. (ensuring your shade reaches down to your sill for proper functionality) The top of the bracket location will be the top of the shade board.

- Please note that if you do not hit a stud, you will need anchors (not provided) to secure the shade to the wall.

- The number of brackets included will depend on your shade width: If two are provided, bring each bracket in a little from each side of the window. If three are provided, the third bracket will mount at the center of the window.

- Top of shade rail will pop into underside of brackets front to back. This may require a little pressure. Once you hear it pop in, it's good to go but do ensure that both sides of "teeth" on the bracket are secured inside the shade rail.

- To release shade, push in the metal tab located on the frontside of the mini bracket and remove back to front.

Functionality: Cordless
- Locate the location where your shade will mount to the wall above your window. This will be indicated by the length of your shade. Ensure that your shade will reach your windowsill for proper functionality before selecting height.

- Once this is accomplished, determine where the provided L brackets will mount by reducing the overall height by .75". This is due to the fact that the underside of the shade board will sit on top of the L bracket. Using the provided screws, screw up through the bottom of the bracket and into the board itself.

- Please note that if you do not hit a stud, you will need anchors (not provided) to secure the shade to the wall.

- The number of brackets included will depend on your shade width: If two are provided, bring each bracket in a little from each side of the window. If three are provided, the third bracket will mount at the center of the window.
