Custom Cafe Curtain Quote
Classic cafe curtains typically cover a portion of the window and provide plenty of light and style, with varied levels of privacy.
This timeless look can be installed either inside or outside of the window frame. They can be lined, or unlined, you can use one panel per window or a pair - the look is totally customizable to your preferences!

1. Figure out your sizing
The most important part of an accurate quote is knowing the length and width you'll need.
Length: If you're unsure on the length, you can estimate it by measuring your window height.
Width: Measure the width of your window - that will be sufficient for a basic quote.
Remember, cafe curtains can be made as pairs or as individual panels per window.

2. How will your cafe curtains be mounted?
Cafe curtains can be mounted two ways:
1. Inside the window frame, via a mounted rod or tension rod
2. Outside of the window frame using a rod such as our French Curved Iron Rod.

3. Choose your pleat style
We have 4 standard pleat styles for cafe curtains, including:
- Mini Knife Pleat
- Mini Pinch Pleat
- Mini Euro Pleat
- Clip Ring Pleat
Each is a bit different in both style and function. Here is a quick view of each style, including which drapery ring to use.
Mini Knife Pleat
This type of pleat lends a modern, casual and clean lined style to panels. It hangs on drapery rings using drapery pins that we apply to the back of the panel for easy installation. When pulled over the window, it will pull flat (unless you order your panels with additional width so they retail fullness when closed).
Mini Euro / Mini Pinch Pleat
These pleats are more dressed and formal pleats (with the Euro pleat being able to go either formal or more casual). They also hang on drapery rings using drapery pins that we apply to back of the panels. When pulled over your window, the pleats will retain in the panel, creating fullness in the panels even when closed.
Clip Ring Pleat
This pleat is the most casual option, using drapery rings that have clips attached to them. The panel hangs on the rings utilizing the clips. We recommend going no longer than 96" for the sake of weight and functionality of the clip rings.

4. Choose your fabric

WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND ordering swatches before purchasing our panels. All computer screens are different making the color swatch photo not a confirmation of the true color of the fabric.

You also have the option of using your own fabric or trim. The same pleat styles are offered as shown above.
To get a quote with yardage needs, let us know the vertical repeat of your fabric (usually listed wherever you'll be ordering your fabric from).
The process for ordering your cafe curtains with your own fabric is very easy:
1. You ship your fabric directly to us from the fabric store.
2. We make the curtains for you per your specs.
3. We ship them directly to your front porch.
Super easy!
5. Consider your lining options
We offer two standard linings: Cotton and Blackout.
Both are premium quality linings that offer two different functions (light filtering vs. NO light shining through) and both are ivory in color.
We also offer interlining as an additional option to add to your panels.
